Lodge Life by artist Jackie Decker was inspired by summer trips to beautiful Blue Lake Mountain in the Adirondacks where her family enjoys hiking and paddling. Her sons like to fish while she relaxes in an Adirondack chair and sketches. Jackie's comfy cotton flannel collection includes a patchwork panel with cabins, canoes, campfires, Adirondack chairs, fish, moose, and bears. Six companion prints include a bear toss, a classic Buffalo plaid, a toss of fish and hooks, bears and moose tossed with chairs and canoes, a Lodge Life text print, and animal tracks.
Jackie says, "There's nothing like soft flannel to ensure a good night's sleep! A kid's sleeping bag and bear-shaped pillow would be so cute! My son has already asked for a cuddly quilt with matching pillowcases. I'm planning a new skirt for our Adirondack-inspired Christmas tree and stockings to hang by the chimney with care. Our Cairn terriers will be spoiled with a patchwork dog bed." Lodge Life is also perfect for kids' tents and teepees for indoor and backyard camping and cozy lap quilts for lakeside cottages and woodsy retreats. A quilt pattern designed by Mary Lou Hallenbeck will be free to download when the collection ships.
